Champs Tough
Kids Co-Op/Lattice picked up their second victory of the season, defeating the always tough Guardian Life 15-9, 15-4 & 9-15. Dayi Yang provided a powerful presence at the net as Rita Keefer and her squad provided balanced attack. Guardian held tough in Game 1 behind Dan Pluchinsky and former league president Allison Silva. Silva making a return to the league after a two year absence (welcome back). Kids was overpowering in game 2 as Yang, Steven Follars and Kevin Masiado provided a steady offensive attack. Gloria Massiado played a steady game as well. Randy Faurl and his squad, Mike Crivellaro, Rich Jetter, Bill Lessig, Lena Torres and Rose Valente along with Pluchinsky and Silva bounced back in game 3 to let Kids know, they will be back later in the season for another shot at the defending champ.

Cigna Makes 2 in a row
CIGNA and Sychronoss played three good matches, with CIGNA pulling out the games 15-11, 15-11 and 15-9. CIGNA notches their 2nd win of the year. Rookie Greg Peters provided much of CIGNA's punch, as he was all over the net last night. Jon Parsons also provide some power and blocking at the net and the CIGNA girls (Wescoe, Moyer, McGinnis and Quill) played a steady game by hitting and setting throughout the night. Chris Pesci's Sychronoss squad played well and did a good job mixing in all of 11 players. A tough task for any manager.

RCN Wraps Cable around Miller
Bethlehem, PA - RCN came out firing on all there cylinders Thursday night near route 22 and Tom Panto's group drained Miller Blood 15-3 in game 1. Tae Kim and company went to the blood bank and fought hard the next two games, but RCN pulled the cable tighter and earned a hard fought sweep taking games two and three 15-10 and 15-13.

Aesculap gets shorthanded victory
On Court 2, Aesculap fought hard to gain its first win of the season, 15-9, 12-15 and 15-11. With leader Jim Messenlehner placed on the 15-day disabled list this week, Lisa Minick led her shorthanded squad to victory over the expansion General Electric (GE). GE gained its first game win 15-12 in game two and Julie Ann Katz's team fought hard to the end.
